Alpha Signs - A Brief History.

Alpha Signs and Graphics was started by Roy Henderson in 1984 in his family home.  The business soon outgrew it's space and was relocated to Vagg Park where it still is today.

It was amongst the first local sign companies to advance into digital printing in the 90s with the acquisition of a Roland Colorcam ribbon printer.  At the time, this was state of the art and soon grew into one of the prime local suppliers of quality signmaking.

Oliver Rushworth has been the Director since Roy retired in 2002.  Oliver's background is in traditional signwriting, that he developed working alongside his father in Sherborne trading as 'The Signwriter'.

The development of the business has progressed with the acquisition of new equipment and new premises at Vagg Business Park.  This has allowed growth into all areas of signmaking, point of sale and print . Working with carefully selected and trusted partners, Alpha Signs now offers a range of services in line with the latest digital print and display technology.

The design of all our products is carried out in-house by our experienced design team, offering unique and creative input into every aspect of your business needs.  The drive for creative excellence and the skills to add the extra dimension to your ideas, allow us to work independently or collaboratively with our clients to ensure that the products we output are both functional and eye catching.
